GECIM - industrial engineering and consultancy office ltd was founded in 1988 with the aim of providing innovative technological solutions in the polymer injection sector, exclusively representing mold-masters hot runner systems in portugal.

In 1997, it expanded into the hydraulic field, beginning representation of vega products. in 2013, it established a partnership with dme, followed in 2016 by the inclusion of ferromatik, broadening its offerings in the injection molding machinery market. with the acquisition of the milacron group by hillenbrand in 2019, GECIM consolidated its position as a partner of mold-masters, dme, and ferromatik brands.

In 2019, GECIM launched a project to optimize the cleaning processes of injection units and hot runner systems, in partnership with ultra system, offering 5th generation purge materials.

Over the years, GECIM has continued to expand its services and expertise to keep up with market evolution and strengthen its role as a true technological partner for its clients.
